I needed the clamp for something totally unrelated to a laboratory. I am using it in my treestand so this is application that requires a sturdy, rugged, dependable device. So far, it has done the job. Just wondering if there is a larger base, I really need another 1/4 inch.
Product is solid and will work well for our lab. Very Pleased!
Easily holds a half gallon mason jar with room to spare the plastic guides get in the way of the chain hook somewhat and need to be loosened partially for the chain to engage the hook fully but a beefy lab clamp otherwise.
Can't find a lot of superlatives for a laboratory clamp, but it'll do the job, which is all I really wanted.
They clamp firmly, preventing hardware rods from slipping or spinning in place.
