The joints in this item do not quite fit my other glassware. It does not quite fully go into 24/40 joint below it, nor does it allow the joint above it to sit fully into it. As such, the keck clips have nothing to hold onto. I've had to revert to put a support below anything it attaches to for fear it would fall off.The glass also looks (and feels) thin to me. It's not as sturdy/heavy walled as my other glassware. Nonetheless, I've subjected it to vacuum distillations. Time will tell how it will hold up. My fear is that it will be the weak link in a setup and lead to an implosion/explosion. (It's a useful piece in my work, and sending it back would mean stopping my work for some days. So yes, technically, one could say I'm taking a risk).
